September is Associate Appreciation Month and a wonderful opportunity to thank Associate Members for all of the hard work and loyalty they demonstrate to the Home Builders Association of Georgia throughout the year. We also want to use this opportunity to thank the Builder Members who take the time to engage Associate Members. “It’s good business to do business with a member,” is a phrase we often hear. Seeing it put to work is a prime example of the association in action. It takes valuable partnerships to make the association run smoothly. This could not be done without the countless hours of volunteer time that our members, and associate members in particular, give all year long. The Associates have helped the association to stay afloat during the most difficult of economic times, and continue to be a source of positivity and encouragement. Their willingness to take on challenging projects inspires others to participate and get involved. If you don’t know many Associate Members of the organization, I encourage you to get to know more of these dedicated individuals. This is a great way of saying “thank you” and shows that the work could not be done without the combined effort of both the Builder and Associate Member. Together, members bring the message that housing is important and vital to the overall health of our economy. Thank you, Associates, for all that you do at the local and state level, not only in September, but throughout the year! o
