The Home Builders Association of Georgia announces its strategic alliance with E. J. Krause & Associates of Bethesda, MD, a worldwide leader in exhibition and conference management, to launch the Builder Remodeler Expo (BRE) in March 2016 at the Cobb Galleria Centre, in Atlanta, GA.
“The Home Builders Association of Georgia is looking forward to the opportunity to be part of the Builder Remodeler Expo,” said HBAG Executive Vice President Kelly Lass. “This is an ideal location for HBAG members throughout the state to meet and connect with manufacturers and suppliers, learn about new products, and obtain educational credits all in just 2 days and under one roof.”
The two day trade event is designed specifically to address the needs of the region’s residential building industry. BRE is set to be one of the largest events on the East Coast, covering all aspects of the residential construction and remodeling industry. The trade event will target attendees from up and down the coast.
The building industry along with major manufacuruers are eager to have an Atanlta tradeshow to address the increased demand in residential construction. BRE will offer the opportunity to meet and network with manufacturers and suppliers, discover new products and services , and recieve high quality educational training, all under one roof.
Atlanta, the business capital of the Southeast, was chosen to host BRE because of its easy access, low cost of participating in trade shows and high concentration of builders. The last builder trade show in Atlanta was over 10 years ago; therefore the demand is strong for a new show that serves all the builders up and down the east coast.
The building and remodeling marketplace represents billions of dollars in annual spending provided by thousands of suppliers and tens of thousands of builders and remodelers. As the market is continuing to increase, the East Coast region is seeing a significant rebound in home sales and residential construction since the 2008 economic market crash.
*The median home value in Atlanta is $169,100. Atlanta home values have gone up 11.8% in the past year and Zillow predicts they will rise 5.5% within the next year.
The Atlanta real estate market is on the rebound. A large decrease followed by a steady upward slope can be seen when viewing home-price trends from 2008 to present. The area has been a dramatic turnaround in the industry. Economists are naming Atlanta, Georgia one of the “Top 10 Hot Housing Markets to Watch in 2015.” Moreover, the market is expected to see exponential growth within next five to ten years.
In addition, the current residential housing inventory is at its lowest point in the last five years, with new construction and significant remodeling now finally starting to recover, there is more opportunity now for residential builders than ever.
Atlanta, GA is viewed as a major business center with world class facilities,
